1.Only Engineering Graduates (Not Chemical) are elible to appear for JTOs.B.Sc & M.Sc candidates are not eligible.

2.Notifications had come in 2008,so we have to write “APPLICATION FOR JUNIOR TELECOM OFFICERS EXAMINATION-2008″ only,not 2009.
3.No online application is allowed.We have to type (Not by the Type Writer)the entire application and have to take the print out in A4 size paper.And have to affix a Recent passport size photograph on the right top of the application along with the attestion duly signed by a Gazatted Officer.
4.CSE and Electronics and Instrumentation candidates are eligible to appear for the JTOs if you feel better to handle the Electronis,and Electrical subjects.Then you come under JTOs (Telecom).

0.Dear venkat raghavan,Percentage(%) is doesn’t matter.Everyone can apply for the JTOs.They will consider everything after qualifying the exam.They will consider our Cut-off marks + Our Degree % for the selection.
1.Dear Anshul,in the instructions they clearly mentioned that adevertisement copy should not use as an application.Don’t worry,you will get the Admit Card,Last time one of my friend did the same mistake,luckly he got the Admit Card.But,it’s better to send in the prescribed format know !!We hope for the best.If possible you just contact ur Circle once either by call or in personal.

You first download word format of application from http://www.bsnl.co.in/company/job.htm and then copy paste the three pages of actual application in to a fresh word doc. Now you delete unnecessary things from application like whatever in [] like [In block letters] and take the printout. Fill the details with your hand i.e. pen only and photo must be attested by gazetted officer. Thats all

i had applied for the bsnl jto 2009 Ncr Region when i will get the admit card
This if for your information…. I spoke to BSNL recruitment department in Bangalore today. Admit card posting process has not yet started for Karnataka circle. It will be started in a couple of days. Around 27000 people have applied in Karnataka circle alone!!! So competition seems to be tough… Good luck to everyone of you….
One more info… if you belong to Karnataka circle and have not received the ack card. Dont panic. They sent it to very few people in the beginning and stopped it as there were lot of applications started pouring in. So you will get your admit card soon.
